"Nemesis Part 1"

Tigerhawk hovers outside the Ark as he practices manipulating the vast powers at his disposal. As his display of power continues, Optimus Primal reads from the Covenant of Primus, an ancient book from the age of the Autobots and Decepticons. This book is so precious, only two copies are known to exist, and one was on the Ark. Rattrap thinks the book relies too much on prophesy, but Optimus counters by saying that everything in the book has come true so far. Rhinox agrees, stating that this is the last chance to end the Beast Wars.

Elsewhere, the Predacons are on the run since the destruction of their base. Rampage is upset but Dinobot quickly tortures his spark, stopping the giant from causing any harm to the Predacon leader. Inferno, Quickstrike and Waspinator are dispatched to find a new location for a headquarters while Megatron, Rampage and Dinobot search Tarantulas' lair, trying to find out what secrets the spider may have left behind.

After enough digging, the Predacons find an entrance to an underground lair, and they quickly head into it. Depth Charge and Silverbolt arrive on the scene just in time to see this. Optimus tells them to hold back, but Depth Charge is adamant and starts heading down to the entrance where the Predacons entered.

Meanwhile, underground Megatron uses a computer to find out what Tarantulas was up to. Then, he discovers it! Elated, Megatron activates a submersible that Tarantulas had constructed and quickly orders the Predacons inside the contraption. The subermsible quickly slides down its track and crashes into the water, heading into parts unknown.

Meanwhile, Depth Charge desperately tries to open up the entrance he saw the Predacons enter. Optimus Primal arrives and Silverbolt lands alongside him. As they draw closer, Depth Charge finds the entrance and opens it up, to find it booby trapped! A bomb goes off, thrashing Silverbolt and sending Depth Charge and Optimus Primal flying back.

The blast is huge, and as Tigerhawk and Cheetor fly to the scene with Blackarachnia in tow. Tigerhawk quickly uses his powers to block the force of the blast. As soon as they land, Blackarachnia quickly runs over to Silverbolt. He is very damaged and Optimus orders him back to base for repairs. Silverbolt protests at first, but Blackarachnia tells him to listen to Optimus. Cheetor escorts the two back to make sure they're okay.

Meanwhile, Inferno and Quickstrike have found a human settlement they believe would make a good base. When they try to rally Waspinator into the fray however, he refuses. Waspinator tells them how he is tired of being a Predacon and destroyed all the time. Inferno and Quickstrike are undaunted. They promptly blast Waspinator and go on with their mission. Charging at the human settlement, they are caught off guard as the humans quickly launch into a plan of action, throwing sharp spears at their attackers! Inferno and Quickstrike are struck several times, realizing that this will be harder than they thought. Waspinator manages to right his head and Una comes over and begins pounding on it. He begs her to listen to him however as she continues her pounding.

While the battle continues, Optimus Primal taps into the Predacon computer to discover that Megatron has found Nemesis! He quickly dispatches Depth Charge to go after the Predacons since he is the only water based Maximal. Depth Charge doesn't argue and quickly heads underwater.

Underwater, the Predacon submersible continues to move down the track passing by the Nemesis. Megatron explains to Dinobot and Rampage that the Nemesis was the most powerful Decepticon warship of its time as the Predacons get closer and closer to the vessel.

Above water, Optimus Primal and Tigerhawk fly over Depth Charge's location. He radios the Maximal base to warn them of the coming struggle. Tigerhawk asks what Nemesis is. Optimus Primal explains the ship's origins, and how it shot down the Ark over Earth before the Decepticon ship crashed on Earth itself!

Underwater meanwhile, Rampage is patrolling the area around Nemesis. Inside the great ship, Megatron is enthralled as he finds a Predacon control room constructed by Tarantulas, along with the second copy of the Covenant of Primus! He orders Dinobot to fire up the Nemesis' engines.

Depth Charge finally reaches the Nemesis and encounters Rampage. Rampage fires off a missile, but Depth Charge kicks it back to him, causing an explosion which splits the ground underneath Rampage open! The Predacon manages to hold on and not fall into the crevice, but Depth Charge kicks him, unrelenting. Rampage kicks back, sendin Depth Charge landing near an energon deposit. Depth Charge manages to break off a sharp energon chunk and tries to stab Rampage with it. Rampage manages to block and the two continue fighting. Eventually, Depth Charge gains the upper hand and stabs Rampage with an energon blade. As Rampage explodes, Dinobot falls to his knees in agony. Momentarily, it seems that the spirit of the original Dinobot is infusing into the Transmetal 2 Dinobot!

Optimus Primal radios Maximal base, but is cut off as he is thrown back by a powerful blast! He and Tigerhawk watch as the ocean erupts in a powerful mushroom cloud. Optimus Primal believes the Nemesis has been destroyed and is elated. However, slowly a wing from Depth Charge floats to the surface, and Optimus realizes that the Maximal warrior has paid the ultimate price.

Suddenly, something begins emerging from the ocean. Slowly at first, then more and more of the great Decepticon vessel rises. Megatron laughs triumphantly as Nemesis emerges from its watery grave! Are the Beast Wars over with the Predacons as victors?
