"Other Victories" Synopsis

The vastness of space hides a secret place - The Nexus, home of the alien race known as the Vok. It is the Vok who have manipulated the great "experiments" on Earth that the Maximals and Predacons have run into time and time again. They sense a time disruption from Earth, which they are suprised by since they discontinued that experiment. To investigate, they extract the sparks of Tigatron and Airazor from their bodies and merge the two bodies together into a new, more powerful form! They quickly launch this form towards Earth. The sparks of Airazor and Tigatron do not remain idle however. They quickly follow the new Transformer to its destination.

Meanwhile on Earth, Megatron is holding court at the Predacon base. Quickstrike is being put on trial for his actions in "Master Blaster". Waspinator is assigned as defense for Quickstrike, but pretty much makes the case against his own client. However, before Megatron can render a sentence, the computers alert him that something is rapidly approaching Earth.

At his secret lair, Tarantulas' computers also sense the danger, the danger being what appears to be a large comet heading towards the Predacon base. He prepares his own plans for this new visitors.

Back at the Predacon base, Megatron activates the base defenses and Sentinel to prepare for the attack. He fires off several blasts from the auto guns and they bounce harmlessly off the comet. The object is approaching faster and faster, and the Sentinel shield suddenly fails, leaving Megatron with no choice but to abandon ship. As the Predacons run out, the comet smashes into the base, destroying it utterly.

At the Maximal base, the Maximals watch with interest as the spectacle around the Predacon base remains continues. Rattrap is thrilled, but the other Maximals are worried.

From the smoke an ashes of the Predacon base emerges a figure. Large, powerful, white and an odd Fuzor like combination of a bird and tiger, Tigerhawk introduces himself as an emmisary of the Vok. His mission is to take Megatron prisoner for disrupting time. Megatron refuses and the Predacons quickly launch their attack. It is easily thwarted by Tigerhawk however, as Tigerhawk quickly uses his wings to shield him from the Predacon firepower.

Tigerhawk quickly responds in kind with a tornado that sweeps away most the Predacons. Along with his wing missiles, Tigerhawk makes quick work of Megatron's forces. Finally, he comes down to facing Megatron himself.

Optimus Primal is not too happy about what he has to do, but he realizes that as long as Megatron is still carrying the spark of the original Megatron, he cannot be destroyed, otherwise a greater time disruption will be caused. He immediately races out to investigate the situation.

Meanwhile, Megatron and Tigerhawk struggle, battling each other, each hoping to gain the edge. As the two clash, Cheetor races to the scene to witness the fight. He questions what is going on, but does not manage to avoid Tarantulas' net blast. Cheetor is trapped! Tarantulas is about to act again when he sees Optimus Primal arrive on the scene and sits back to see the results.

As Tigerhawk shoots down Megatron, sending the Predacon leader crashing to the ground below, Tigerhawk prepares to dispatch him. Optimus Primal begs him not to, but Tigherhawk quickly gets him out of the way by opening up the ground underneath Optimus and burying him in it! Tigerhawk is about to continue his gruesome work until several small arachnid bugs hit him, one after another until he is unconscious.

Elsewhere, Cheetor is dreaming. He sees Tigatron and Airazor's ghostly forms returning to Earth, then the two merge together to form one spark, which then guides Cheetor. Cheetor snaps out of his daydream and quickly follows the sparks, which are headed towards Tarantulas' lab. As soon as Cheetor has left the area, the hand of Optimus Primal crashes out of the ground!

Inside Tarantulas' lab, Tigerhawk is stuck on a web. He wakes up slowly to see Tarantulas hard at work. However, Tarantulas has a plan to remove his "alien influence" within Tigerhawk and then use Tigerhawk to destroy the Ark. When Tigerhawk points out that this may kill him in the process, Tarantulas states that only those descended from Autobot or Decepticon will be affected. He and the Tripredacus Council however have "other" origins.

Cheetor meanwhile sneaks into Tarantulas' lair, but is suddenly confronted by several of Tarantulas' small spider robots.

Meanwhile, Tarantulas begins to extract the Vok influence from within Tigerhawk. As Tigerhawk roars in pain, Cheetor rushes into the room (with a small spider robot in his mouth and several strewn about) to watch the fantastic scene. The two Vok who merged Airazor and Tigatron together slowly emerge and approach Tarantulas. Tarantulas tries to fire at them and destroy them, but they succeed first, and Tarantulas explodes as the two Vok enter him. The merged sparks of Tigatron and Airazor quickly take this chance to enter the body of Tigerhawk, completing the merge as it should have been.

Tarantulas' destruction begins a chain reaction in the lab that begins destroying everything. Control panels, computers, wiring etc. all begin to explode. Cheetor quickly transforms into robot mode and helps Tigerhawk escape the lab.

Outside Tarantulas' lab, Optimus Primal arrives to find Cheetor and Tigerhawk escaping the lab's destruction. Cheetor coins the term "Tigerhawk" as the new name for Airazor and Tigatron's combined form. Tigerhawk likes the name and decides to adopt it.

Optimus Primal explains that a lot has happened since the two Maximals had disappeared. When he offers his hand for Tigerhawk to shake, it is so massive that Tigerhawk agrees that a lot has changed. Glad to have his comrades back and amused, Cheetor tries not to laugh too hard as Optimus acts slightly annoyed at Cheetor's joking around.

The Maximals transform into their alternate modes and head back to base, ready to face the future together.
