Beast Wars: Transformers TV Show: Episode Coverage [ Season One ] [ Seson Two ] [ Season Three ] Beast Machines: Transformers TV Show: Information |
Synopsis: "Nemesis Part 1" Synopsis - I don't want to bother making one of my own so I'm using Benson Yee's synopsis because he can call the shots better than I can. Source: http://www.bwtf.com/ YTV Description: Megatron, outnumbered by the Maximals and without a base, seems beaten. But a secret project of the now-dead Tarantulas’s is discovered which promises to turn the tide. Source: http://www.ytv.com/ Screenshots: (The following screenshots are in .zip format and you will need WinZip to view them.) I created 118+ screenshots from this episode. They are good quality and in 320 x 240 format. I did not spend hours making them so people can steal them off my site without my permission. If you would like to use them on your web-site in any way please ask for my permission first. Thanks. Nemesis Part 1 - Nemesis Part 1 screenshots. Nemesis Part 1 - Nemesis Part 1 screenshots that were left out from the first batch that I thought should be added. The Nemesis - Large 640 x 480 screenshots from the Decepticon war-ship Nemesis. Notes: The beginning of this episode shows us that Tigerhawk's powers from "Other Victories" was not completely because of the alien influence in him. Obviously the aliens engineered a powerful Transformer body capable of amazing displays of power. The Covenant of Primus has been described by some as a "plot device", and to a degree it is. It is the first definite indication fans are given that the Beast Wars were meant to be a part of Transformers history. However, the book is written with enough "flowery language" that it can be interpreted and reinterpreted, much like classic myths in literature today. For those who felt that Tarantulas was conspicuously absent for most of season three, it now becomes obvious that the spider had been busy. It also helps explain even better why he was so insistent on having his own lair rather than simply staying with the other Predacons in the Predacon base. One needs privacy when planning something on this scale! Waspinator shines in this episode as he finally asserts his independence. After so many seasons of being a pawn and getting blown up for it, Waspinator decides to be his own bot - and gets blown up for it! Source: http://www.bwtf.com/ My Comments: We finally see Rampage putting his hands on Megatron, but Dinobot, being loyal to his creator, tortures Rampage and the fight is broken up. It was funny when Inferno and Quickstrike got like a hundred spears thown at them by the humans. Depth Charge shows his loyalty to the Maximals by going after Nemesis. He shows some of his true self though by getting distracted by Rampage and ignoring Nemesis though. But it appeared that Depth Charge thought by destroying Rampage would create an explosion that would destroy them both and take out the Nemesis along with them. The fight between Depth Charge and Rampage was sweet! I loved it. Depth Charge destroyed Rampage but failed to stop Megatron and the Nemesis and he and Rampage were both destroyed. We find out that Rampage was indeed a protoform. I was disappointed that Depth Charge died though. He was one of my favorite characters. Maybe there is not going to be any sea creatures in Beast Machines after all so they had to get rid of him. Rampage's destruction affected Dinobot and Dinobot's spark was being fuzed into one. |
