Notes:

The evolution of Dinobot is nicely brought to full circle in this episode. With his spark finally complete, we see that Dinobot, the true Dinobot is in this new form. In past episodes, we saw this Dinobot's battle prowess and hunting skills. With a sense of honor and what is right instilled, this character becomes a hero once again. Also notice how the "metallic" aspect of his voice actually changes back into the Dinobot voice we knew from before. A very nice touch.

Although heroic, the death of Tigerhawk truly feels empty. The character literally only had two episodes to develop as a character. Such an interesting character could have been kept alive to use in the upcoming Beast Machines series or just kept alive to get more character exposition in this episode. It is sad to think that Tigatron and Airazor's "return" (of sorts) only lasted three episodes.
The reason for this was mostly due to last minute decision making. Originally, Hasbro was not going to produce the Tigerhawk toy (they are as of this writing), so they instructed the writers to kill the character off. However, since the character is listed on Hasbro's Beast Wars Site, we can safely assume we will have a Tigerhawk toy this year (until they change their minds of course).

For those who think that simply having an Autobot shuttle battle the Nemesis was a bit odd, you're not far from the truth. In the original drafts of Nemesis, the Maximals actually did get the Ark operational, and it would have battle the Nemesis and the Decepticons Thrust, Dirge and Ramjet. However, Mainframe Entertainment decided that the costs of rendering such a battle were too expensive, thus the use of an Autobot shuttle instead.

My Comments:

Megatron's speech in the begining of this episode comes from The Bible. It is a quote that Jesus says and it's from the book of Revelation, chapter 22, verse 13: "I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." Alpha and Omega come from the Greek alphabet and are A and Z in english.

Wait a minute! They didn't put the original Megatron's spark back! This didn't bother me because you should assume that the Maximals would already do that before they left for Cybertron. Don't worry http://www.bwtf.com/ has a special cutscene you can download of Optimus Primal putting the spark back that was left out in the final version of the episode.

Now why would Megatron want to destroy The Ark you might say. His ancestors are on that thing for heavens sake! Well you might say he went crazy or it would not matter because he is holding the spark of the original Megatron so if he destroyed The Ark and everything in it he can alway rebuild the original Megatron and put his spark back where it belongs.
